Are all pieces identical?
No, every Ember & Earth piece is handmade, so small variations in colour, texture, and subtle air bubbles are normal. These unique traits make each piece one of a kind.
Are your products food-safe?
No. Jesmonite is not food-safe, so please don’t place food directly on bowls, trays, or dishes.
How do I clean my pieces?
Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive sponges. Mild soap can be used if necessary, just dry the item immediately afterward.
Can I use candles on my bowls or trays?
Yes, you can place candles in appropriate holders on your pieces. Avoid high heat and never leave burning candles unattended.
Will my pieces stain?
Strongly pigmented liquids (like coffee, wine, oils, or makeup) may leave marks if left for long periods. Wipe spills promptly to prevent staining.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Most orders ship within 3–7 business days. Each piece is handmade in small batches, so processing time may vary slightly. Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we ship within Australia only.
Can I order custom colours?
Yes, custom colour requests may be possible depending on the piece. Please contact us before placing your order.
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we do not accept change-of-mind returns.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement or refund if needed.
Are your pieces made by you?
Yes! Every piece is designed, hand-poured, sanded, and sealed by hand in small batches.
Can I use my pieces outdoors?
We recommend keeping your Jesmonite pieces indoors. While they are durable, prolonged exposure to sun, rain, or extreme weather may affect their finish over time.
